From Uncle Dave

D’Arcy,

Although I didn’t spend much time with you in your early years, I do remember way back in 1985 when you and your mother came to visit us in Toronto, walking around our apartment you thought our apartment was the coolest hotel. Also in your early teens, how bold you where, to have very loud hair colors. I was impressed. There have been a few occasions where just you and I sat on the dock and you showed your compassion and concerns for your brothers and parents over different issues, your empathy and compassion for others always shine thru. Your loving relationship with your husband Carlos should be inspiration for all of us. I was so happy when you decided to and got married. I am very proud of you from all aspects – friendships, career, family and your relationship with Carlos. Also, I am so happy that I am your favourite uncle (at least in my mind).

 Love

 Dave
