Darcy,

 You are such an amazing part of the family and are such an inspiration to us all. Always on the move in life, creating memories, facing challenges, celebrating successes, and experiencing as much as life has to offer. You are a delight and one who lights up the room with your sense of humour and calm demeanor!

I am fortunate enough to say I have been to be a part of your life from the day you were born…you are such a gift. After all the excitement that day, I sat with your dad outside and revelled in amazement of your birth and the beauty of the colourful autumn day.

I was living with your mom and dad at the time, working for your mom at her first location of My Astonishing Self.  After a few days, she fired everything into the Volkswagen, including you, and was back at work… hahaha.  She would nurse and rock you back to sleep in between customers…and you can picture that…so your adventures began.

You are incredibly caring, loving, funny and thoughtful and I feel more of a friend that an aunt to you. I appreciate the advice and wisdom that you share with me when we spent time on the dock at the cottage. At times over the years, you would support and reassure me with your insight if I may be questioning something with one of my boys.

Your gentle caring nature has always brought me such joy. You captured the essence of yourself when you met Carlos and created such a powerful couple together. You both show such love, strength, and support.

I love you both as “Big as the World”.
