From Anju & Chander Datta
Dear D’Arcy,
There are lots of memories you and your family provided us over the span of your younger years. Foremost, is the welcoming of our family by the Mercer family and the friendship that followed...and then, there was the humour, wit and spontaneity towards us and others. Those belly laughs we still remember and feel in our guts.
Boat rides, water skiing, frog and worm hunting at your cottage on Loughborough Lake. The kidnapping over weekends, playing hide and seek at the “My Astonishing Self” among bras and lingerie boxes and having to find our kids, who didn’t want to go home.
One never knew what surprise might be next, boredom did not exist. Life was good, life was fun, uncomplicated and thoroughly enjoyable. We are cherishing our memories of your enthusiasm and zest.
We will be joining you sooner or later, D’Arcy, and we are looking forward to our otherworldly adventures with you.
With enduring love for you,
Anju & Chander
